Tak Kin Ho, Seminary Intern

Tak Kin Ho (also known as Anita Tong) was born and raised in a Christian family. She had her confirmation in 1989 and is currently a member of United Methodist Church Hong Kong. Tak Kin met her husband Sin Lung Tong (also known as Tom Tong) in a church planting project. They were married in 2002.

Tak Kin graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Hong Kong Baptist University. Afterwards, she worked in the field of performing arts management for seven years. In 2002, she earned a Diploma of Christian Studies at the China Graduate School of Theology Hong Kong. Tak Kin is also an Adjunct Instructor in Music Office, a division of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong SAR Government. Many children from low-income families benefit from this music program.

Between 2007 and 2009, Tak Kin was in Princeton, New Jersey with her husband, who was a student in Princeton Theological Seminary (PTS). During their stay, they were actively involved in Princeton United Methodist Church (PUMC). Tak Kin and Sin Lung went back to Hong Kong in 2009. Tak Kin was the Director of Music Ministry in North Point Methodist Church Hong Kong. She began her studies in Westminster Choir College of Rider University in 2014 and earned the Master of Music with emphasis on Sacred Music. Tak Kin is currently a student in Princeton Theological Seminary, studying Master of Divinity (2016-2019). She believes she is called to serve through music and teaching ministry in churches in the future. Her husband Sin Lung is a Ph.D. in the Old Testament in the Divinity School of Drew University. They are both affiliate members of Princeton United Methodist Church.
