After five months of meeting together to pray, study, discuss, and learn about the deep injustices found in our local community surrounding human sexuality and racism, it’s time to follow in the footsteps of Jesus to action.

Whether you’ve joined for a home group meeting, a panel discussion, or are coming for the first time, join us after church for coffee hour and a light lunch on Sunday, June 9th in the Fellowship Hall.

Local groups from the community are looking for volunteers to combat these injustices, and they would like our help: we can make a difference. It’s a great way to learn more about our community and an opportunity to live into our Baptisms, following the Spirit’s guide to “resist evil, injustice, and oppression” in whatever forms they present themselves.

Some of the groups present are:

Latin American Legal Defense Fund
HiTOPS in Princeton
Cornerstone Community Kitchen
Not in Our Town
Reconciling Ministries Network
Puerto Rico Mission Trip
The Maker’s Place
Planning team for a Juneteenth event and engagement with churches of color in our community
