Youth Group

PUMC YouthUMYF: United Methodist Youth Fellowship, that’s a lot of words to describe what is more commonly known as Youth Group.

What is it?

Sixth through twelfth graders meet weekly to hang out, discuss everything from theology to current events, worship, serve the community, and learn about who we are and what we are going to become.

When is it?

Sundays, beginning at 6:00 pm with dinner and lasting until 8:00 pm. If you’re interested in joining the youth choir, come at 5:00 and stay for the rest!

What happens the rest of the week?

UMYF activities are not restricted to Sunday evenings. Throughout the year we will have special events like lock-ins, retreats, mission trips, servant projects, youth rallies, and much more.

How do I join?

Just come and we will be happy to welcome you!

We invite you to bring your teenagers to this wonderful program.

*For further choir information, please visit the Children and Youth Choir page.

Youth Mission Programs

Our youth regularly participate in mission projects.  Please visit the Appalachia Service Project page to learn about this program.  Fundraising activities are held throughout the year and will be highlighted on the ASP Fundraising page.

Volunteers Needed

We are looking for any and all individuals who want to spend time with youth!

You can help in many ways: cook a meal, drive to an event, become a youth advisor, join us for a Sunday night by leading a game or leading a lesson! The possibilities are endless!
