Our Church Mission Statement is: “We are a diverse community, joyfully responding to God’s love and growing as disciples of Christ by nurturing, teaching, reaching and serving all people.”

We are a congregation of different colors, ages, educational and economic backgrounds, we celebrate our diversity and the gift which is from God. In the last year we have been reflecting on what it means to be a Reconciling Congregation with respect to our relationship with brothers and sisters in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender community and how they feel about the church and how we feel about them. Together we consider the questions “are we serving all people?” Does everyone feel welcome here? Does everyone have a place?

As we pray about, discuss and reflect on this issue, your pastoral staff thought it important to offer a sermon series entitled, “A Place for Everyone.” Each Sunday in January we will welcome a different preacher who will share the biblical witness and their story around how we make a place for everyone within the church.

Be sure to join us for this important Sermon Series. As we grow together in faith.
