As we move into 2013, many of us will make New Year’s Resolutions.  This year, why not resolve to come out and support our church’s many mission projects.  To learn more about them, you are invited to join us for the events listed below:

Fundraising for this summer’s Appalachian Service Project will move into high gear as we raise money to send our team of adults and teenagers to help the less fortunate in Appalachia this summer.  Super Bowl is coming on February 3rd in New Orleans and we will, once again, sell hoagies for you to eat as you watch the big game. The ASP team will begin selling hoagies during the second week in January and your order may be picked up on Sunday, February 3rd.

And….Save the date.  The UFAR Soiree which supports the work of the United Front Against Riverblindness will be held on Saturday, March 9th.  Details are coming soon!  This event features African food, music and a silent auction.  Proceeds go to helping eradicate riverblindness in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
