The Sacraments

Communion bread and a cup (grape juice) are served.“The Lord Jesus, on the night that he was betrayed, took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said ‘This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way he took the cup also, after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me'” — 1 Corinthians 11:23-25
As United Methodists we practice two sacraments:  Baptism and Communion:

Baptism:
We baptize babies, children, youth and adults periodically throughout the year.  For further information please contact the Church Office (office@princetonumc.org).

Communion is served at worship services on the first Sunday of each month.  As United Methodists we believe in open communion. This means that all who believe in the saving grace of Jesus Christ are invited to partake in the sacrament.  Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month at both the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services. During the summer months we celebrate communion at the 10 a.m. service on the first Sunday of the month.
