The church family celebrates Advent on Sunday, December 1, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., when all ages will get together to do crafts, enjoy a potluck dessert, and sing Christmas carols. This year’s Advent Night is on the theme of “Colors of Faith.” Did you know, that Yellow represents God’s perfect light; and Red represents the blood Jesus shed for us. You might guess that Purple — which always seems to be associated with royalty — represents the crown of life. Blue represents the baptism that identifies us with Jesus; White designates the cleansing of our sins, and Green represents the new life we have in Jesus. Bring a dessert to share. Sign up to attend or volunteer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
