Witherspoon-Jackson Community Heritage Prayer Pilgrimage.

Seven Princeton United Methodist Church members went on the Community Heritage Prayer Pilgrimage on June 26, 2022, as part of our "Building Bridges' series. The tour offered opportunities to "learn about the hurt, hope, and experiences of our neighbors in the Witherspoon-Jackson Historic District." And we learned a lot that was historic. The Heritage tour covered about 29 sites. As pilgrims, we prayed together as we heard the stories and pondered the critical aspects of each spot. This physical and holy journey was also a way to nurture our spiritual life. It was indeed a joyful walk! We all had an exciting time.

KUMC and PUMC designed this Prayer Pilgrimage Tour to be a live, in-person event. However, you, too, can take the tour on your own time, at your own pace, using the pilgrimage booklet available online. Barbara Figge Fox, a PUMC member, is nevertheless willing to do the live in-person walk again for those interested.
