KIDS

Be loved. Be kind. Be you.

This summer, Princeton UMC is partnering with area churches for a community-wide Vacation Bible School. In this year's theme, "Just Like Me," we will explore who we are, learn how to use our voice, and share our gifts with our community. Grounded on theologies of inclusion, this unique VBS uses both First and Second Testament Bible characters to help learners build vital social spiritual skills that support active faith development, and celebrate their own identity as a beloved creation of God - just as they are.

FREE! June 24-27, 5:00-7:30 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church.

Programming available for PreK to 8th grade.

Two children smile at eachother with joy at Princeton United Methodist Church

At PUMC Children's Ministry, your children will be loved and nurtured in a safe environment where they will experience God and learn how to be compassionate Jesus followers.

Kids check-in starts 30 minutes before worship in the Family Corner. You can save some time by pre-registering your child below.

In addition to our children's ministry programs during worship, children are also welcome to stay in the sanctuary for the entirety of the worship service. We love and embrace the beautiful sounds of children! The Family Corner is available during worship for children and families who need some extra wiggle room.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Our friendly VIP host will show you where our Family Corner is when you arrive. We will meet your family, walk you through our COVID-safety procedures, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!

SAFETY

Children's ministry leaders at Princeton UMC are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every leader is background checked and Safe Sanctuary trained (the United Methodist Church's training program for preventing child abuse).

Still not feeling comfortable with indoor children's ministries yet? Email us to join our mailing list to learn about our monthly outdoor activities, as well as our online ministry offerings!

OUR TIME TOGETHER

Your kids will experience an age-appropriate program that will help them to grow closer to God, learn more about God's expansive love for them, and think critically about ways they can show love to others. Our children's ministry programming is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at Princeton UMC is for kids to joyfully grow as compassionate disciples of Jesus Christ. Our motto is: "Be loved. Be kind. Be you."

MINISTRIES FOR KIDS

CHURCH NURSERY

TWO YEARS AND BELOW

Children who are two years old and younger are welcome to visit our nursery, which is staffed by trained ministry leaders who are passionate about caring for our youngest disciples. Drop your child off in the nursery anytime between 9:30 am and 11:30 am and be reassured that they are in good hands.

COMPASSION CAMP

PREK-5TH GRADE

If your children are PreK through 5th grade, then they start worship with us in the main sanctuary. Children and families are also welcome to sit in the Family Corner, if they need some extra wiggle room! After the children's time, kids are invited to follow their trained children's ministry leaders to their age-appropriate room for the rest of the worship service where they will have a blast in Compassion Camp, our Sunday School program for PreK-grade schoolers!

GROW STUDENTS

5TH-12TH GRADE

If your children are in 5th through 8th grade, then they start worship with us in the main sanctuary. Each first Sunday of the month, middle schoolers are invited to meet at 9 am in the Sanford Davis Room for a Bible study and fellowship time.
